A good friend built our house, the same person that constructed
the Kenwood Inn & Spa in Sonoma. We originally intended to live here but wound up
moving to LakeTahoe for the time. We built the house as soundproof as possible using environmentally friendly shredded blue jean insulation. The radiant floors and instant hot water are all regulated by a tankless water heater and solar heated tank. All the windows and doors were custom made and installed by JG Forge in Tecate, Mexico. The floors are wide white oak sustainably farmed and imported from Connecticut. All decking is Ipe or Ironwood and is intended to remain unfinished and keep its weathered gray appearance for many years.
